 Jubilee Conference
125 years of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”
Sofia, Bulgaria, 5-7 December   2014

The conference is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of university education and scientific research in mathematics and natural sciences at Sofia University. The conference  program includes plenary talks on historical and scientific topics, as well as contributed talks in the different areas of  mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and  methods in education. There will be several special sessions, round tables and discussions on scientific and educational problems related to the past, the present and the future of the education in mathematics, informatics and the natural sciences.
The conference themes are of a wide variety- including mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, geography and the education in these areas. The conference is meant to serve as an interdisciplinary forum for research in all aspects of natural science and mathematics as well as the interplay of these theoretical areas with practical issues building bridges between different parts of the research community.
The Programme Committee cordially invites all researchers in the area of the conference to submit extended abstracts of their talks according the rules explained at http://125years.fmi.uni-sofia.bg/en/node/30. All of the accepted abstracts will be published in a booklet of the conference. Full versions of the best papers will be published in Annuaire of University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
The conference will take place in Sofia University. The official languages of the conference are English and Bulgarian.
